The Baby Mop? Yes or NO?
A close family friend of ours just had a baby, and she is only a couple days away from starting to crawl, the baby, not the friend. It’s one thing to give your kids chores, but I’m not sure if this is smart, funny or a photo just meant for social media.
The baby mop is a real thing created by Better Than Pants. This lol item even made an appearance on SNL’s weekend update. Seth Myers said “”It’s great if you’ve ever wondered, ‘how can I get all this dirt and bacteria off the floor and onto my baby?’

Apps to keep your New Year’s Resolutions
It’s the first week of January and I already have broken my New Year’s Resolutions. I want to drink less, eat healthier food, reduce my coffee intake and exercise more. Sounds like pretty standard New Year’s Resolutions to me. I should be able to keep at least one or two of them.
I can admit that I have a tiny love affair with my smart phone, who doesn’t right? I decided to look for apps that would help me keep my New Year’s Resolutions.

In light of the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary, we were looking for ways that we can help those affected in some way. In doing a Google search of “ways to help Sandyhook” the fist link to populate was a list posted by USA TODAY.

NFL turns Penalty Flags Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell received a letter from a boy in NJ, who asked for the refs to use pink penalty flags in October. Dante Cano hand wrote the letter and Goodell obliged. This just goes to show, that old fashioned letter writing isn’t dead.

Ellen Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Not to be confused with brushing your teeth, checking yourself every month is as just as important. Ellen’s mother is a breast cancer survivor for many years now, as she often speaks about. Comedian Wanda Sykes also had a scare.
Ellen comments it is important to laugh no matter what is going on because it is the best medicine. Laughter is free and doesn’t prevent you from using heavy machinery. Haha good one Ellen. :)

11 years and we still remember 9/11
Today marks the 11th year anniversary of 9/11. I remember vividly where I was when I heard the news of the twin towers collapsing. That will be something I will never forget. There is great organization called “I WILL” where the objective is to observe September 11 every year as a day of charitable services and doing good deeds.
